This is a fact
I agree that Shavkat does have weird moments where the aura of infallibility seem to fall away and it seems a bit awkward where “maybe this dude isn’t all that dominant” before he inevitably finds the finish.
But it’s about reading between the lines with Shavkat I find. His well-roundedness, composure, killer instinct, and fight IQ. When his TDs failed against Harris the fact that he was able to calmly pull out a fucking wheel kick as Plan B on the spot against a lethal boxer like Harris is crazy. Against Magny he immediately seized onto every mistake the vet made and exploited it to the fullest, picking his GnP shots wisely (anyone who lands GnP consistently to the body rather than exclusively headhunting against a shelled-up opponent immediately goes up 100 IQ points in my book), and managed to calmly work his way out of the heel hook. The way he baited the guillotine was also great. Other fighters might have gassed out trying to finish Neil, lost position, or got subbed.
Most Over rated Podcaster – YOU.
Oh look it’s MMA couch potato who likes to bash on the weasel because of the fight breakdown he made.
Gilbert Burns is 36, and Shavkat is 28. There is so much more potential in Shavkat so that is why people think of him as a future champ.
Dude seriously still salty about Shavkat. Just accept it and move on man GURU!!
Shavkat isn’t overhyped. He’s under hyped if anything.
Shara poot deen??
But if it’s anyone from UK,guru will blindly jump behind the hype train what can you expect he was literally on Brendan Allen hype train.
If they don’t speak english they’re not overhypef
“Burns beat Magny easier than Shavkat and isn’t called a future champ” yeah because Gilbert already had his chance at the title, got finished with a jab and started crying on the floor
Guru made the same mistake when he picked Carlston Harris against Shavkat
Shavkat still underhyped
