It looks like the Miami Dolphins will not be among the options for Tom Brady, if he decides to play elsewhere in 2023. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins are not expected to pursue the quarterback, who is set to be a free agent in March.
Miami is committed to Tua Tagovailoa as their starting quarterback and is pleased with his development under new head coach Mike McDaniel this season, according to Schefter. The Dolphins attempted to lure Brady last season, but they were fined heavily by the NFL and lost multiple draft picks, including their first-round selection in the 2023 NFL draft, due to tampering.
Brady has not announced a timeline for his decision on retirement or returning for another year, but a fourth season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still appears to be a possibility if he decides to come back.
