Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

  1. I just watched a little more and I’m laughing about the “poker faces” a few in the back do but up front, maybe they need that mirror as well!!

  2. You know as judges you really need to learn how to control your facial expressions!! And also maybe think about your own accessment! It takes a brave spirit to even try and who are you to break that spirit? You can say no in a kind way…..

  3. I’m honestly a little shocked, but I admire their confidence. I can’t imagine getting out on the floor for a professional dancing career audition with some of what we saw here. I like that DCC will let people of all ages audition and their attitude about the older women who turned out. As they said, for these women this is something many of them want to do for an experience. I’m 48 years old. I did a little bit of dancing and cheerleading, but the skill level of the dancing expected here is above my pay grade and always has been. My body is okay for someone of my age (trying to be positive here), but it isn’t something I’d want to put on display as a part of my job. As for my nieces, E is already at a university on a dance team scholarship. They dance at the games and compete. I don’t know a lot about it, but I know she is an incredible dancer. I know she and her sister and will genuinely stand a good chance if they audition for something like this. I say this to lead into saying I have a really good idea of just how much work goes into making a professional cheerleader. I’m sure most of these girls have been dancing since they were around age 3. It’s likely they were dancing several disciplines and entered into competitive dancing at an early age. My nieces have spent more hours than a lot of people might imagine training, dancing, competing and adding to and refining their skills. They look great on the floor. They’re charismatic and beautiful. Both would probably make great Rockettes as well, particularly the youngest one.

  4. Oh goodness I feel like this video is exactly why even thinking about auditioning would be crazy. They are making fun of these girls who are just eager and nervous and maybe a lil delusional but still :/

  5. I have to ask, why not have a “Squad” of Superman elderly women? I get the sexy athletic female that’s disciplined but for those who love like a superfan, what for them???
